This is done by briefly heating the brim of the cup, so that a vacuum force is created locally on the skin. The function of this method is to dissipate \u201cWind-Cold\u201d and to relieve blood stagnation and pain. This is a normal phenomenon and will disappear after a few days. After the redness has disappeared, a reduction of symptoms is expected.
